Hey! The burn rate for Shiba Inu (SHIB) has been pretty wild lately. Here are some key points:
June 6, 2024: The burn rate shot up by a massive 3,894%, with about 4.8 million SHIB tokens burned in a single day.
June 4, 2024: There was an even crazier spike of 16,600%, thanks to a big transaction that burned over 21 million SHIB tokens.
Other Recent Burns: There have been several large burns recently, including one where 21.3 million SHIB tokens were burned, leading to a 1,442% increase in the burn rate.
A recent Shibarium update has also helped boost the burn rate by 150%. This update reduced the bridging time between Shibarium and Ethereum, making token burns faster and more efficient.
All these efforts are part of the community’s push to decrease the supply and hopefully drive up the token's value over time.
